A wonderful entertainer - watch the children laugh at his antics and be entertained by his stories & magic.
Show Times: 11.30am, 1.15pm& 3.15pm

Shaun Winter Marionettes <more>
Fantastic puppet show.
Show Times: 12.15pm, 2.30pm, 3.45pm

Enchanted Forest Nature Workshops run structured, guided nature workshops incorporating arts and crafts, trails, environmental activities and games, earthwalks and Relax Kids yoga and meditation. The workshops offer children, young people and adults the opportunity to discover and explore nature at a level they feel comfortable with.

  • Friday:
    £2 per participant
    11.30am and 2.00pm -  'Relax Kids' workshops (each lasting approximately an hour)
  • Saturday and Sunday:  
    A Variety of Enchanted Workshops
    £2 per participant
    11.30am – 12.15pm - 'Relax Kids' (3 - 8) yoga, meditation, games, visualization, stories, dancing.
    1.00pm – 2.00pm -   'Earthwalks' (6+) sensory nature activities, scavenger hunt, colour pallets, meet a tree, lilliput gardens, silk painting
    2.30pm – 3.30pm  'Bushcraft' (11+) – shelter building, fire lighting, making string, games

Stansted Park 'The Young Gardeners Club'

The Young Gardeners Club at Stansted Park Garden Centre is teaching young gardeners all about gardening. This is an ongoing project where the Centre has allocated space for the club to grow vegetables and flowers in the greenhouse and in the garden including tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, beans, peas, lettuce sweet corn and various different flowers. They are also learning about water preservation, composting and garden wildlife and habitat along with landscape design by incorporating and building stepping stones across the gardens.

A series of fun workshops will take place throughout the Show at their gazebo on South Lawn.

  • 10.30am - 11.30am - Paint a pot and plant it | Cost £ 4.00
  • 11.30am – 12.30pm - Make a planted hanging basket to take home | Cost £10.00
  • 1.30pm - 2.30pm - Make a model garden | Cost 5.00
  • 2.30pm – 3.30pm - Paint a pot and plant it |  Cost £4.00
  • 3.30pm – 4.30pm - Make a hanging basket | Cost £10.00
