Dragan Wood Art – Demos 10am – 5pm Daily

NO POWER TOOLS are used on our wooden handicrafts. Carving knife, chisels, mallet, scorp, gouges and lot of sandpaper are necessary tools in the search for the final shape that will emerge. All the wooden spoons, bowls, trays and other traditional handicrafts are food-safe, meaning that you can put just about any food item into a bowl or use the spoon with. You can use the wooden pieces for a variety of different thing, such as for bread, salad, fruit, dips and chips. You can wash by hand or in the dishwasher. If wood begins to dry out simply oil with olive oil or vegetable oil.

Al Hayball Caricatures

The man who likes to draw hares…along with many other creatures and landscapes! Al is a pencil artist, and also paints bright colourful canvases. He is inspired by the landscape and animals along the Dorset coast. Each drawing or painting has its own unique appeal either for its free- flowing pencil style or its vibrant colours. Dogs, hares, sheep, square cows, and many other animals are all given the Al Hayball treatment. Al can be seen up and down the country demonstrating his ‘Caricaturing’ skills and exhibiting his art along with his faithful hound, ‘Tilly’ the ‘bedlington whippet’ who also features in many of his compositions.

Stephen Lee Fine Art Photography

Landscape photographer and printmaker Stephen Lee has spent a professional lifetime chasing inspirational images. A former barrister, Stephen forsook the courts of law for the laws of nature to become a writer and photographer specialising in mountains and wild places.
Stephen still works with large-format film cameras (Hasselblad, Fuji Panoramic, Wista 5×4 plate camera) to bring home the ultimate quality to his fine-art limited-edition prints. All printmaking and framing is done in Stephen’s Sussex studio. Stephen will be delighted to talk to you about his work, from that goose-bump moment when he knows a good photograph is about to be taken, to the creative and technical decisions and the final editing, printing and framing.
Also on show will be the pick of a lifetime’s inspirational images Stephen has made in Namibia, The Andes, Yosemite and The Himalayas, as well as aerial views of Chichester Harbour, the Round the Island Race and much more.
