Thought 4 the Day!

" There is no experience better
for the heart than reaching down
and lifting up. "
John Andrew- Homer

The Garden Show in Spring is specifically supporting The National Garden Scheme at Firle www.ngs.org.uk

Every year NGS gardens across England and Wales welcome over half a million visitors.  Our tradition of opening gardens of quality, character and interest is supported by our Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales.

Through this the NGS raise £2 million each year for nursing, caring and gardening charities.  Since 1927 they have raised over £30 million (£15 million in the last 10 years).  Their office is small so most of the money goes straight to the charities they support.

The Garden Show has supported a number of charities over the years and we are very grateful to all out visitors for their generosity.

Beneficial Foundation | Brent Lodge Wildlife Trust | Emsworth Afternoon Flower Club
Foxhollow Animal Sanctuary | Bells Piece Cheshire Home | Perennial - Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society |
Make- A-Wish Foundation | The Prince's Trust | Sue Ryder Care | The Rowans Hospice - Support Group
Petworth Cottage Museum | Foxhollow Animal Sanctuary | Canine Partners | COCO | St John Ambulance | CancerWise
